01.06.2017 The 8th de.NBI Quaterly Newsletter published

Highlights: The integration of Germany and the de.NBI into the European life-sciences infrastructure for biological information ELIXIR has been approved. The legal integration of the de.NBI partner projects into the network has been implemented by signing a new collaboration agreement between the 30 universities and research institutes participating in the de.NBI initiative.

Core data resources for the life sciences should be supported through a coordinated international effort(s) that better ensure long-term sustainability and that appropriately align funding with scientific impact.


27.02.2017 The 7th de.NBI Quaterly Newsletter published

The Quarterly Newsletter Edition March 2017 contains information on two meetings, the 2nd Scientific Advisory Board Meeting and the de.NBI Plenary Meeting both organized last year in Berlin. Furthermore, the newsletter deals with series of interesting topics like interactions with ELIXIR, establishment of the de.NBI cloud and organization of two de.NBI summer schools in 2017. It also contains information on events like the Midterm Review and the de.NBI Symposium.
