Good news for de.NBI, the German Network for Bioinformatics Infrastructure: In September, de.NBI has passed successfully the midterm evaluation in Berlin. The international evaluation panel stated that de.NBI is working successfully from the beginning and that it should be continued.

Highlights: The integration of Germany and the de.NBI into the European life-sciences infrastructure for biological information ELIXIR has been approved. The legal integration of the de.NBI partner projects into the network has been implemented by signing a new collaboration agreement between the 30 universities and research institutes participating in the de.NBI initiative.
