SILVA 113 released as web-release

The SILVA webdatabases - including all tools available on the website - were updated to EMBL-EBI release 113.

The SILVA web-releases provide quality checked ribosomal DNA data of the latest EMBL-EBI release to all tools on the website:

• Taxonomy Browser
• Search
• TestProbe
• TestPrime
• SINA

Be aware that the ARB files and SILVA taxonomy have not been updated. This will only be done in full releases.

Extensive release documentation will also only be available for full releases.

The web-releases are meant to balance the issue of actuality with the need for extensive curation work necessary for full releases.
